Homework: Read  Chapter 13, "Following Stage Directions," for Wednesday.

Reviewed concept of peaks and shifts--and that "topping" lines and using blocking to underscore emotional shifts is key.

Emphasized the importance of understanding the concepts in Chapter 13 in order to successfully block scenes.

Students began blocking "Here We Are."
 

DUE DATES

WEDNESDAY, March 5: read Chapter 13, "Following Stage Directions."  
FRIDAY, March 27: Vocabulary Quiz on Chapter 13 vocabulary.
FRIDAY, March 27: present blocking demonstration of "Here We Are."
FRIDAY, April 3: Perform "Here We Are."  (MUST BE OFF BOOK!)
